I hightly suggest Screenpresso if you look for a freeware app to take screenshot , share and add annotation, bullets or record screencast from your desktop to upload anywhere as min.us , facebook, your ftp account etc..
it’s a freeware with really nice features, and you can even record your desktop to make a video with sound and share it as a screencast for a Youtube demo of your own service

There are a lot of video converter, and they all looks the same, some video converters contains too much information, or profiles, and so you don’t know what you really need.
I suggest to look at this new development, as I tried to help the authors to design the best interface possible.

The product is quite cheap ( 29$ ), some people will complain it is not a freeware, but if you want serious trouble-free products without adware, and quality support team, I still recommand to pay for it. Anyway you have a trial version
You can add a file to be converted, directly from the shell menu

Once you have started the program, you can set the main parameter which is smartly a slider to choose between quality and file size ( very useful when you load the files to watch them on a iPhone or iPad which has quite limited storage ). You can also choose the destination hardware

The interface by itself is very stylish and cleaned. with a drag and drop panel, preview of videos , settings available in the main dialog. and a clear option about the fact iConvert will not only convert but transfer automatically to iTunes, to make it easier for the user to get the new videos available in their iPad and iPhone without the need of a manual action.

I have converted a few video files in less than 15 minutes, so it is quite fast converter. I have checked out the result on my iPad, and the video is vivid and looking correctly synchronized ( a typical error of video converter is the sound and video synchronisation )

Since a few weeks I have look for different software to optimize the printing process. Indeed, I wasn’t satisfied with the default drivers, and the printing dialog is still depending a lot of each software ( like printing in office 2010 isn’t the same than printing from Internet Explorer )

I have a personal issue with FinePrint actually, because that’s the ONLY company which refused to meet me while I was in San Francisco for 1 month during this summer. I tested the product already ( because I m an happy iPad owner ) and it works fine, even if you still need to transfer the file for iPad manually to iTunes ( a suggestion made to developers to be improved )
